Care Services Manager
An established extra care service provider is seeking a Care service manager to manage its Domiciliary care provision throughout South Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with proven experience managing a domiciliary/ community based care service as a registered manager, service manager or head of care role. My client currently provides a care service delivery of over 1200 care hours per week across a number of scheme villages. This service is growing and is considered an area of the organisation which will continue to grow in coming years. The Care service e manager will be responsible for the delivery of a quality care service across the provision. You will establish and ensure robust processes and procedures are in place and adhered to, manage a team of care-coordinators and administration staff. This is an office base for the role is south Staffordshire, however regular travel to the care villages will be required. Suitable candidates must have demonstrable, recent experience within a domiciliary care role and have excellent knowledge of care standards, the outcomes framework and regulations. You must also have strong safeguarding knowledge and awareness of the legislative changes in the care sec sector. Whilst my client is seeking the stability of a permanent member of staff there is the opportunity for an immediate start in a temporary to permanent post. The permanent salary is up to 40K plus benefits and is based on a 37.5 hour working week. The temporary hourly equivalent is £20-£24 per hour. As a Team Coordinator, you will support the manager in the coordination of the cases and workloads managed by the team. The role will involve – • Undertaking a lead role within the team for the coordination and management of individual and team performance against the key national and local performance indicators. • Assisting / deputising for the team manager • Providing supervision for social workers, family support workers and administrators.
