Reception Teacher
Reception Teacher Haringey Start date – ASAP This charming two-form entry school is looking to hire a well rounded Reception Teacher to start ASAP. The role has become available due to a teacher leaving for maternity cover. Duration of the role is most likely to be for the full academic role with the potential of continuing on to the next academic year. Duties:teaching all areas of the primary curriculum;taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils;organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment;planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class;motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;maintaining discipline;preparing and marking work to facilitate positive pupil development;meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils development;providing feedback to parents and carers on a pupils progress at parents evenings and other meetings; The Head teacher is looking for an outstanding teacher who is able to maintain a high standard of teaching. You will b working with the Early Years team to help achieve and exceed teaching and learning targets. You will need to be passionate about the learning to enable every child to enjoy their learning and help them to achieve they full potential through various methods of teaching and learning. A small primary school in north Birmingham is looking for a qualified early years teacher to join their team as soon as possible. In the first instance the vacancy will be full-time until Easter, however there may be a possibility of it continuing until the end of the academic year. The children centre staff are very supportive and the early years teacher will be a part of a team. They would like an early years teacher that will create a positive environment and someone that can share best practice. The Role: The Early Years Qualified Teacher needs to be responsive to this expectation and to share skills as appropriate to achieving the broad range of outcomes.
