Senior Care and Support Worker

It consists of two purpose built bungalows with accessible, well-maintained gardens, providing a home with 24 hour support for ten people with learning and physical disabilities. Residents have their own bedrooms and share communal areas, including a large lounge, kitchen/diner, bathroom, toilet and utility room. The successful candidates will support customers with daily living skills (including cooking) and will encourage involvement and participation with community based activities. Personal care will be required, as well as administering medication and updating care plans and risk assessments. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the customer group (personal and voluntary experience also qualifies). You will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within a learning disability setting. We are really looking for people who have a strong customer focus and who view this as an opportunity to enable our customers and really drive them to achieve higher levels of independence.
